Jodi Arias pleads for jury to spare her life, says, 'I want everyone's pain to stop'
Tue May 21, 2013
I cannot support the death penalty, but I believe this woman needs to be kept away from others while she is a danger. The U.S. has too many people in prison, but some do deserve to be there and she is one.
Trouble on the farm: 'We face a grim future'
Mon May 20, 2013
Farmer can sell me a 10 acre plot on the corner of his acreage for my horses. He can make a bit of money by selling a tiny bit of land. That will start to raise land values.
No. 1 swimming pool problem? It's number two!
Thu May 16, 2013
Cleaner than the ocean water, but I'll stick with my own backyard pool.
Doctors detail Angelina Jolie's breast surgery
Thu May 16, 2013
I did find it interesting to learn more about the procedure, but I recognize that the level of care Jolie got was way beyond what is offered to most women. She basically had two new breasts made and her nipples were spared. She may look even better than before. Most women who have had breast reconst …
Fired lesbian teacher: Catholic educators union won't back me
Tue May 14, 2013

I am sorry that some ugly people falsely accused Ravi of any association with negative news. We have begun to see the ugly side of social media. It bodes a …
California case another three-part tragedy of rape, cyber bullying and suicide
Sun Apr 14, 2013
My deepest sympathies to Audrie's family. They are in a world of hurt right now that will last for many years and possibly all their lives. There is no deeper pain than the loss of a child to suicide. I recommend Alliance for Suicide Survivors as a place to talk away from the negativity here.
Gun instructor could get permit back after threatening to 'start killing people'
Tue Apr 9, 2013
He is the utter stereotype of every gun nut in America.
Student debt is housing's $1 trillion challenge
Mon Apr 8, 2013
I feel the same. My son was accepted at more expensive "better" schools. We had to send him to state school and have him live at home so we could afford the costs. We were not offered a dime in grants or scholarships and we knew we would have to pay every penny ourselves. Private school and out of st …
